Contaminated areas: DGUV Regel 101-004 (formerly BGR 128)
Construction and remediation works are among the activities with a high hazard potential. When structural components or materials are also contaminated with hazardous substances or biological agents, this is “work in contaminated areas”. This includes:
- Construction on contaminated sites or polluted industrial and commercial land
- Activities involving biological agents on landfill sites and during microbiological soil remediation
- Fire-damage remediation
- Work during remediation of building contaminants
- Survey of hazardous substances in the planning and preparation of these activities
Cleaning contaminated areas requires a high level of specialist know-how – know-how that we at NA-Unternehmen naturally have.
NA-Unternehmen places the greatest emphasis on well-trained staff for decontamination work. Our workers and employees are continuously trained and kept up to date. That is why contaminated areas are no problem for us.
In Austria we carry out this work in compliance with GKV and ASchG. We also draw on the proven requirements of DGUV Regel 101-004 (formerly BGR 128) for work in contaminated areas.
